The Robert A. Peterson Scholarship is a full scholarship funded by the Global Communications Development Network (GCDN) to keep alive the legacy of Bob Peterson, a leading figure in communications and public relations who passed away in 2017, and to inspire professionals to demonstrate impeccable moral and ethical standards in global corporations and international organisations.
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, candidates:
- Must be full-time incoming students or enrolled students in one of the Graduate Institute of Geneva’s Master programmes ;
- Must show an interest in pursuing a career in communications, public affairs, corporate affairs in an international organisation, a non-governmental organisation or a global corporation ;
- Must have a need for financial assistance duly documented.
It is a full scholarship amounting to CHF 20’000.- a year. The scholarship is to be applied to tuition fees.
An admitted student will be awarded the scholarship for two successive years. A second-year enrolled student will be awarded the scholarship for one year.
The scholarship beneficiary must send a brief report on his academic and non-academic activities at the end of the academic year to the Graduate Institute which will be shared with GCDN.

- a curriculum vitae
- financial statements
The Graduate Institute, Geneva will review the application and select the suitable candidates whose application file will be sent to an external jury of independent personalities set up by the GCDN. Candidates will be informed of the decision by beginning of June.
